'An unexpected chunk of Mexico' in upper Provence, this B&B is filled with furniture and craftworks which globetrotting residents of this medieval town collected in the 19th century. The hotel was built in 1888 and was renovated in 2013. A visitor comments, 'Staff very friendly. Delicious breakfast on the wide terrace. Our annexe room was quite dark, but spotless, very comfortable.' Three rooms are in Mexican style, and beds are large. Those in the older wing are generally preferred to the more modern rooms. Some have balconies. 'Service was efficient.' Afternoon tea has a wide choice of teas, and hot pastries and there's a bar serving light meals. Nearby are golf, lakes, fishing and sports d'air, and the hotel's navette will take guests free to nearby ski resorts such as Le Sauze and Pra Loup.
