Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
This “delightful” little hotel is in a valley just below this hilltop village amid the rolling forests of the North Vosges national park. “A total switch-off from humdrum life,” wrote one satisfied guest. Gabled and half-timbered, it faces a small lake (“good swimming, and fun for children who love to spot the fish,” says our inspector). Others add: “Good value in a charming setting. We had a lovely walk in the woods. An interesting German-style breakfast. Staff friendly, rooms well equipped, food excellent.” Local dishes, such as coq au riesling, are on the menu. The bedrooms are quite simple; some are small; most have a spacious modern bathroom.
