Located in the centre of Capri but surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, nearly all of the rooms at this peaceful family-owned and run boutique hotel have sea views and terraces or balconies. Originally a family home offering two guest rooms, La Minerva has been extended over the years and now has 16 rooms on five floors but still retains its character: vaulted ceilings, hand-painted majolica floor tiles and original artworks make the hotel feel intimate and personal, but customer service is highly professional and ensures many repeat visitors. A buffet breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace (with hot dishes cooked to order for no extra charge), and the panoramic pool bar serves light lunches and aperitifs. No restaurant, but there are many close by.
