The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
In a quiet setting in Nansensgade, but only 15 minutes from Copenhagen Airport by metro, is this good-value hotel. Following a refurbishment in 2011, artworks from local neighbourhood artists hangs on the walls. Rooms range from “tiny” and “small” (very small single rooms with desks, aimed at the business traveller) to “medium” (a standard double) and “large” and 'x-large” (more spacious, and with space for additional beds). Beds are comfortable and the simply-furnished rooms are stylish yet practical. There are three restaurants, offering Italian food, sushi and tapas, and during “Cozy Hour”, from 5 to 6pm, guests gather to mingle and free wine and snacks are served. The buffet breakfast (€20) offers New Nordic cuisine – a chance to sample healthy, organic, seasonal and regional dishes. It's the sister hotel to Kong Arthur hotel, located just across the courtyard.
