Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
This historic city/port is the cultural and economic centre of Dalmatia, and this 'lovely old stone building', managed by Joze Tomaš, is used by business people, but other travellers love it too. The previously dated decor is a thing of the past: the hotel had a complete refurbishment in 2015 and is now an upmarket establishment with a spa. It has a terrace with palm trees and a 'true Mediterranean atmosphere'. The 'delightful' open-air café and restaurant face the wide panorama of the Adriatic. Many bedrooms face the sea too: they are 'elegant' and air conditioned. It's a one-minute walk to the Bacvice beach, a bit longer to the ferry harbour and to the old town built into Diocletian's palace (AD 300). 'A pleasant place to stay en route to the islands.'
