This hotel is on Elba, and reached by ferry from Piombino. It's a modern B&B hotel on the edge of a large resort on the south coast of the island, across the promenade from a wide, sandy beach, with shallow water and safe bathing. The views from the hotel of the beach are great; all rooms have balconies or terraces although not all face the sea. Readers found “helpful, courteous staff” and an “excellent” large outdoor swimming pool. There are two restaurants, one in the hotel and one a snack bar by the pool. Bicycles are available free of charge, and there are sauna facilities and massages for a fee.
