Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Set 800m from Château de Cheverny, and on the village square, this old inn has been owned by the Bricault family since 1865 and is now a member of the Chateau and Hotels Collection. A visitor reported, 'Friendly, helpful staff; decent bedrooms; very good traditional food'. The bistro restaurant, popular with passing trade as well as hotel guests, offers traditional French fare (frogs legs, foie gras, game) and offers a summer terrace set in the square for warmer months. The chef is Stéphane Bureau. The rooms are modern and stylish, with floral curtains and plenty of storage. The public rooms are richly decorated in Louis XIII style, with beams and panelling.
