The Good Hotel Guide is the leading independent guide to hotels in Great Britain & Ireland, and also covers parts of Continental Europe. The Guide was first published in 1978. It is written for the reader seeking impartial advice on finding a good place to stay. Hotels cannot buy their way into the Guide. The editors and inspectors do not accept free hospitality on their anonymous visits to hotels. All hotels in the Guide receive a free basic listing. A fee is charged for a full web entry.

Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
Owned and managed by the Šimon family, this simple, well-modernised, small B&B hotel is located in Strašnice suburb, a residential district four kilometres east of the centre. It offers peace and tranquillity, but as it's a near a metro (Skalka) it only takes 15 minutes to get into the centre. Described by a visitor as 'clean, well run; excellent buffet breakfast', amenities include a minibar with free soft drinks, a bar, and garden with outside seating. There are some good restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, and hotel staff are happy to point guests in the right direction.
