Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
“Delightfully located”, outside Challes thermal station, is this superb 15th-century castle, renovated by the Trèves family owners. It's set in 6 hectares of wooded grounds, and there's an unheated swimming pool, tennis courts and a children's playground. Rooms are set in the main chateau and in an annexe. The restaurant serves gourmet cuisine at a reasonable price, and it's advised that guests book the restaurant when they book the hotel. A visitor reported “Our standard room was excellent; there was a very pleasing atmosphere, although we found the food a bit rich.” Massage treatments are available by request.
