Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
The lawns of this hotel (with loungers and plenty of space for sunbathing) run down to a private beach on the shore of Lake Annecy. Owned by Corinne and François Debuquoy, it was renovated in 2016. The building is “handsome, both inside and out”, says one. The decor is modern; public rooms are “cosy”, with good pictures; some bedrooms are large; some have a balcony. In the large dining room, “with lovely views”, the staff are “very welcoming” and Benoit Leyendecker”s cooking is “of a high standard”. “Local wines of a high standard.” There's a tea room and a stylish bar. “Breakfast, in the garden, was lovely.” Guests on B&B terms tend to stay in the annexe, La Tournette.
