This charming small hotel is a trim white house by a canal, just out of the very busy tourist area, ten minutes walk from the market square. It is well run by its friendly owners, Marc and Lieve Bossu-Van Den Heuvel, say visitors. And, 'a bonus in a city where taxis are scarce', it is on two bus routes with a stop right in front of the hotel. Some bedrooms are small, others are larger, some have a view of the canal, others look on to a small patio at the back. 'From our balcony we enjoyed the moonlight over the canal.' Reception is found 'charming'; the conservatory-style lounge and breakfast room look over the flowery patio garden. The hotel prides itself on its buffet breakfast.
