Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
When you stay at this one-off B&B, be braced: your host might well mention the War. Since they bought the iconic 1940s Modernist RAF North Creake control tower in 2011, Claire Nugent and Nigel Morter have spent a bomb on transforming interiors in Art Deco style with meticulous attention to detail. From the small double Controller’s Rest Room to the Signals Room with big green bathroom suite, and annexe Stirling Suite with living/breakfast room, pink bathroom suite and patio doors, the whole is a complete tour de Air Force. Breakfast is vegetarian (vegan on request), with the full Monty or lighter options, and fruit, often home grown. For suite guests the cooked dishes are delivered in a cool box.
