First-floor bedrooms are graded petite, classic and deluxe, but best of all are plush, dog-friendly four-poster rooms in a farmhouse just moments away. Each has a hand-picked selection of books. Estate produce from the Chatsworth farm shop in the village is used extensively in dishes ranging from pub classics such as haddock and chips to vegetable wellington or lamb rump and shoulder with confit potatoes.
