The Globe Inn
Wells-Next-The-Sea, Norfolk
A Victorian inn looking onto a leafy square, this is now a smart, family friendly, dog-friendly pub with a wide choice of bedrooms and relaxed ambience, serving bar snacks, small plates and pub classics.
Good Hotel Guide Review
The hotel experts at the Good Hotel Guide
A Victorian inn looking onto a leafy square, now a dining pub with rooms, has been styled for the Chestnut Group, drawing inspiration from the North Norfolk coast. Bedrooms, with a palette of sand, sea, moss and lavender, range from a single ‘bolthole’ and small doubles to extra-large king and a family room sleeping three. All have a walk-in or over-bath shower and signature bespoke toiletries. There are further rooms in Arch House, a stroll away. Bar snacks are served all day, while in the restaurant there is a menu of small plates, sharing boards and pub classics – or dine in the courtyard, in the sunshine, on a crab salad with a glass of wine. Dogs are genuinely welcome, and the Coast Path runs by.
