The building was abandoned and decaying when potato farmer Tim Briscoe stepped in to save it, and he’s nailed it! Each room is styled to honour a different market trade, blending modern comforts with original features, underfloor heating, a shower room, luxury sustainable toiletries and touches of wit. Beamed, four-poster Haberdashers has an additional bunk room. Landscapers is a homage to Norfolk man Humphry Repton. At ground level you find artisan pastries, tapas, cocktails… Not a B&B, just a B, a fun and easy-come, easy-go base from which to explore the Broads, dog in tow.
